I've done most of what I think should work to get into the game and I am still getting booted. Ive read the articles on this and Im still missing something. Thanks in advance.

your username and account creation date and how little information is provided makes me think that you're more likely than not a troll(and not a good one), though I'll regardless give you this response, but don't expect anything else from me in particular
NWN: EE won't allow you to connect to non-EE servers, such as NS4
you can only play on NS4 with the pre-beamdog version of NWN

Please post more details about how you are being "booted"... Are you able to connect to the NS4 server or is your game client unable to find it? Are you able to get to the Account username/password screen and try to login? Do you receive the message 'Unable to contact master server' and click 'ok'? Can you see a (blank?) list of characters, with the ability to create new character? Once you create a character, are you able to get to the cutscreen when the module loads? Are you able to get to the first area where you pick a faction? Are you unable to pick the faction you desire? Are you able to choose a faction and get to the faction cutscreen? Are you able to load into the factions initial spawn? Do you get a black screen when you think you should be loaded?

As you can see, there are many potential steps where advice can be given.

Yes, Thanks for the reply.. I knew I wasn't giving enough info, but wasn't sure what all was needed. First I followed direction on this site to go here: https://www.gog.com/game/neverwinter_ni ... nd_edition and purchase the game. so I did.. I then patched to 1.69 with all expansions.. When I try to login through multiplayer it says something to the effect of" Could not login into mater server" When I try to "join internet game" i get "connection failed, try another nick" When I try to direct connect to 45.55.86.61:5121 I get the screen to create a character and all is good but once i click "Play" it says you have been booted.

Sorry, It sounds like I'm not authenticating to the NWN servers and maybe thats what my problem is, but there is nothing very intuitive telling me why.. I amusing the exact name and password i setup for the NWN portal. Thanks a million for even taking the time to read and help..

I tried a step that i wasnt sure about in the threads that said i needed to replace the serial keys so i copied them from GOG in my profile.. now it says time out when trying to connect, feels like a step backwards..

The NS4 (and most NWN servers) don't like CD Key changes. But that's what needs to happen.
I know that you can log into your GOG account and that your NWN diamond edition will have a set of 'multiplayer keys' available somewhere. You need those, because the default CD keys are not valid for multiplayer. Once you get those CD keys sorted correctly, use the 'shortcut' method that I linked previously. This will remove the unnecessary steps of the NWN game and the multiplayer menu and server list and crap. Use the info as shown on the wiki, not a numeric IP address.

Once you have those 2 things sorted, then try to connect. The username is the only part that matters really, passwords were disabled a long time ago when Bioware stopped hosting the master server. So pick a unique account name and a (at least) 1 letter password.

Once that's done, you should be able to hit connect, wait like 10 seconds until the master server message pops up, click ok, and you can create a new character. You may need to wait a couple minutes (up to 30?) if you have changed the CD keys recently.

OMG Thank you so much.. This got me in.. I waited for my CD keys to take, and I am now able to see the loaded menu screen where it says "Welcome to Neversummer" Thank you for your kindness. I don't know how to repay you, but thanks for helping a noob out.
