Githzerai
From Neversummer 4 Wiki
Githzerai Bio
Githzerai are hard-hearted, Humanlike people who dwell in the plane of Limbo, secure in the protection of their hidden monasteries. They are taller and thinner than Humans, with sharp features, long faces, and eyes of gray or yellow. Severe and serious, Githzerai tend towards somberness both in dress and personality. As a rule, they are close-mouthed, keep their own counsel and trust few outside their own kind. Many Githzerai are Monks; however, Sorcerers, Rogues, and multi-class Githzerai (called Zerths) are also quite common.

Githzerai Guide
Pros: Additional Wisdom is a +1 AC bonus for monks, and the Dexterity will help any Finesse character (and has Weapon Finesse to aid this). Has Spell Resistance which is always great. The AC has been changed to Dodge, which means it stacks!
Cons: Loss of Intelligence means less Skill Points to spend. Lower strength means less damage per hit. ECL 3 is the true killer. Alignment restriction can also be a pain, as if you want to have Monk as one of your classes you're effectively restricted to Lawful Neutral.
Conclusion: Lately this race has seen a lot of improvements. The ECL is starting to be worth it. You only receive 1 less skill point, and since this is basically a Monk Race, it won't matter since you'll mainly be getting Tumble and Discipline. The Strength negative can be overcome with Gloves and a few points. Spell Resistance, +4 AC (Dodge so it stacks), and Weapon Finesse Feat make this an excellent finesse Monk. ECL 3 though, so it will be tough to level. Note that the racial Spell Resistance does not stack with the innate Monk ability, or with the Cleric or Druid spell, but it does mean that you can multi-class these without sacrificing SR.
