Ghostwise Halfling Bio
Ghostwise Halflings are the feral, reclusive cousins of Lightfoot Halflings and Strongheart Halflings. They are most often found in living in small forest communities. Ghostwise Halflings are rarely seen in large cities, but do occasionally set out to explore the world for reasons known only to them. Visitors to Ghostwise settlements often report that the Halflings have kinship so tight that they can communicate without speaking.
- Favored Class: Barbarian
- +2 Dexterity, -2 Wisdom
- +2 to all saving throws vs. Mind-Affecting spells and effects
- Hide bonus of character level / 4(+10 at level 40). Note: The ghostwise token also seems to give a short-term boost of +1 ab/+1 damage.
Note: Ghostwise Halfling is a Subrace of Halflings. To choose it you must pick Halfling at creation and choose Ghostwise Halfling at first login.
Choosing the Halfling race will include Halfling adjustments already, therefore your stats will be adjusted from those selected at character creation as follows:
- +2 Strength, -2 Wisdom

Pros: No negative to Strength on this one, and the +2 Dexterity is still intact. The +2 to Saving Throws vs. Mind-Affecting Spells makes up for the Will lost from the -2 Wisdom. There is no ECL, thats always good.
Cons: Theres not that much bad about the Ghostwise Halfling, Wisdom is a dump stat for a Rogue, Barbarian, Shadowdancer, and Fighter (four classes the Ghostwise excel at). Other than that, there are absolutely no other negatives or cons.
Conclusion: Makes a good Shadowdancer build, perhaps a Barbarian/Rogue/Shadowdancer or Fighter instead of Barbarian for more Feats. But definitely a good Shadowdancer build period.
