Earth Genasi Bio

Earth Genasi are slow to act, ponderous in thought and set in their ways. They are most often neutral. They appear mostly human, with one or two unusual traits reflecting their quasi-elemental nature, such as earthlike skin, rough facial features, or eyes like black pits. They favor neutral colors and simple clothing, and while some appear to inadvertently collect dirt on their clothes, others keep a neat and polished appearance.

Favored Class: Fighter
Must be Neutral-aligned
+2 Strength, +2 Constitution, -2 Dexterity, -2 Charisma
+2 to all Fortitude saving throws
Half damage from all acid-based attacks
At Level 1, 3 Natural AC, No Damage Reduction
At Level 10, 3 Natural AC, +5/5 DR
At Level 20, 5 Natural AC, +6/6 DR
At Level 30, 6 Natural AC, +7/7 DR
At Level 40, 7 Natural AC, +8/10 DR
Earth Genasi Clerics must take Earth as one of their clerical domains

Earth Genasi Guide

Pros: Favored class Fighter and a boost to constitution AND strength. The hardened skin of an earth genasi make him an even better tank.

Cons: ECL 2 so levelling isnt exactly easy. The fortitude for a fighter is a bit redundant as they will already have very high fortitude saves, as is the acid immunity. Loss of 2 dex means that to qualify for dodge you must spend alot more. Must choose earth domain and loss of charisma makes it a tough choice for Cleric.

Conclusion: This is a perfect tank. Charisma is forgetable to most fighter builds and while the Dexterity hurts, compared to the gain of both strength and constitution it's a minor annoyance. One of the best abilities is the Barkskin/Stoneskin item. Loses half a point for dex, alignment, and domain restriction, otherwise perfect marks.
